I woke up and breathed in the crisp fall air. My heart raced when I remembered what today was, Thanksgiving! I got out of bed and could already taste the juicy turkey. When I walked downstairs into the kitchen I saw my parents getting all of the supplies for the big feast this afternoon. About an hour later we all started cooking the first thing we did was put the turkey in the oven.
Next we started to make our homemade stuffing, at the same time we where setting the table and moving chairs from other rooms to fit all of our reletives. People started showing up at about 12:00am so we all went into the living room to chat for a little while. At about 12:30 the last of the guests showed up so we all sat at the table, ready to eat. the first thing to come out was the turkey. It was the biggest turkey i have ever seen. Once that was on the table all the other little stuff like squash, potatoes, and carotts. We all started to dig in and by no time there wasn't a crumb in sight. After dinner we had some apple pie and then the reletives started to leave.
