when i woke up on a really dark and stormy night, the power was out and i couldnt see a thing. I got out of my really cold bed and though that i was going to freeze to death. I walked over to the window to see what was outside. All that i could see was, fallen down trees,and a ice blanked over all that i could see. I went to go and get my mom and dad. i walked in there room and woke them up, they didnt know what it was for because they were to tired.
When my parents finally woke up a little more i told them what i saw outside and that the power was out.
They both said "just go back to bed for a little longer then we can all get up." they also said not to wake up my brother. i went back into my bed and fell back to sleep. After about an hour or 2 i woke back up and the power and everything else was still the same. I got right out of bed and got my parents they said " go and wake up your brother" i went into his room and woke him up, he said " why is the power out and why is it really cold" i told him that there is an ice storm.
We all went down stairs to look outside and turn the height up. i brought a blanket down to keep warm, we all looked outside and all that we could see was ice.
